In the State of NJ, a contractor installing or servicing sprinkler systems must be licensed by the DEP. Please click here to read or download the licensing law.
There has also been a revision to a bill regulating the use of sprinkler systems to include, that every sprinkler system must have a rain sensor installed. To read the amendment to the bill in section 4, please click here. You can check to see if there are any drought restriction in your area by clicking here, which will take you to the New Jersey DEP website. |
